Made From Scratch

My little one did you know that you were made from scratch, your Mommy and Dad made you with the love in our souls. You were made with the ingredients of love, humanity, kindness, success, intelligence, fire, and humbleness. With all these ingredients you will go out into the world and make an amazing impression. My favorite saying and a poster I had over my bed growing up as a little girl was a ballerina and it said, "Gods gift to you is life, and your gift to him is what you do with it" I have kept this saying very dear to my heart, and use it as a way to navigate my life. Please know you were made from scratch and from time to time we may quarrel with one another but my intentions will always be to protect you because I loved you before I knew you, and prayed for you every day. So my darling child you are made of all the right things, don't every be scared to succeed, you are a Marrow Peay!

Remembrance Day Today

Today is Remembrance Day for Pregnancy and Infant loss. I want to remember my little boy and your brother Lamar Henry Peay, he was born too early, but was too beautiful for words. Today I remember all the hope and love and dreams I had for my little boy. All the dreams that will never be, but I also have my faith and hope that I will have another little one in my arms. I also have faith that my little boy is now my Angel and part of my guidance in life. My little one has made me a better person and prepared me to be a better mother. So the little one that I now carry, you are so loved by so many, and you have your angel brother in heaven helping to shelter you as you continue to grow. Today is a good day because my baby is remembered, and his brother/sister continues to grow inside of me.

Baby,
You may know me, and I sure do know you. I have loved you from the very moment you were conceived. You are the love of my life and besides your Father the reason I get up and fight in this cruel world. You make me want to become a better person because I have you. We have not met in the outside world, but always know that Mommy loves you so much.
You were not a child that was a mistake, you are a child that was carefully planned and loved for. You are a Marrow-Peay, you come from families that will support you and be there every day of your life and beyond that. You have a brother who is in heaven that looks over you and Mommy every day. So my darling child I want you to know how much you are loved and to never think for a second that my love will not transcend all the hormones or fights that we will have over the years, after all Mommy and Daddy made you from scratch and you are too perfect not to love.
